A real wedding at ATELIER

I keep coming back to that first meeting on the wooden staircase. You can see Sarah approaching Gunnar in one photograph, then the two of them wrapped around each other in the next. The shape of the staircase is beautiful, but their faces are what make me stop.
Before that, there are the quieter photographs in the room: the dress waiting beside Sarah, the last adjustments before she leaves. I want those photographs to sit alongside the portraits, so looking through the gallery feels like remembering the day, not just visiting a location.
The ceremony, with everyone close by
Look at Gunnar while he waits, then at Sarah coming down the aisle. Later they’re holding hands in front of their guests, and walking back through them as a married couple. When we talk about your photographs, these are the kinds of moments I want to hear about: who will be there, who matters to you, and what you don’t want to miss.
Time together, then back to the celebration
The wedding party joins them for photographs, followed by a little time together on the wooden walkway. The evening brings dancing, sparks and cake. Seeing that change in the photographs is useful when choosing a photographer: your gallery needs to feel like you after the daylight portraits, too.

Planning your photography at ATELIER
We can start online, wherever you’re planning from. Send me your wedding date and tell me what you’ve arranged so far. You don’t need a finished timeline to get in touch.
- Your ceremony and reception plans. Share the spaces you’ve booked and the times your coordinator has confirmed. We’ll work the photography around those plans.
- A first look, or meeting at the ceremony. Sarah and Gunnar chose a first look. If you’d rather wait, tell me; your photographs don’t need to follow their sequence.
- The people you want in the pictures. A short family list helps us make space for those photographs without losing track of the celebration.
- The evening moments that matter. Include your plans for dancing, speeches or cake when we discuss coverage, instead of choosing hours based only on the ceremony.
Ask your hotel coordinator to confirm access to the spaces you like and the current requirements for an outside photography team. Another couple’s gallery doesn’t guarantee the same access, arrangements or fees for your booking.
